The best beach club in Sardinia? Nikki Beach Costa Smeralda review
Nikki Beach Costa Smeralda, Sardinia, Italy, tucked into the glamorous coastline of Costa Smeralda, delivers a signature blend of exclusive luxury, chic Mediterranean vibes, elevated dining and world-class hospitality. From the crystal-clear waters Sardinia is famous for to perfectly plated food and flowing champagne, it’s more than just a beach club, it’s a full-day escape. If you’re searching for the best beach club in Sardinia, this is where your search ends (with your toes in the sand and a drink in your hand).

How to get to Nikki Beach Costa Smeralda, Sardinia
Nikki Beach at Cala Petra Ruja, Sardinia can only be reached by boat. So you either need to come on your yacht, a friends, or take their complimentary boat transfer. I made the rookie mistake of curling my hair and then not bringing a hair scarf to protect it during the boat ride, so I ended up with a frizzy birds nest!

Parking for the boat transfer is at SP160, 07021 Arzachena SS, Italy. It’s easy to miss the small driveway so keep your eyes peeled. A large black SUV was waiting for us at the carpark to whisk us straight to the dock and to Nikki Beach. The whole experience was seamless and the boat ride scenic and quick.

The Nikki Beach Costa Smeralda experience
The Nikki Beach Costa Smeralda, Sardinia, Italy experience is designed to be exclusive and luxurious down to every detail. From the boat only beach access down to the attentive service and quality of the food. It also has a max capacity of 130 people, so book well in advance during the height of the season.

Some Nikki Beach clubs feel more social, like Ibiza where there is a pool everyone gathers at. Others feel more intimate and private like this one. There is also no wi-fi, just beautiful crystal clear, calm water and white sand, so it really feels like an escape.

Which day and what part of the season you visit Nikki Beach Club Sardinia in will change the vibe and your experience a lot. We went at the start of the season and it was wonderfully quiet, although the weather was a bit hit and miss.

It still had a great atmosphere as there was a DJ but if you’re looking for more of a beach club party go on a weekend day at the height of the season. Even then it’ll still feel exclusive due to the small number of guests permitted.

From the moment we were greeted at the carpark to the moment we got back, all of the staff were friendly and attentive which added to the experience. It’s one of those beach clubs where the day just disappears and you have no idea how.

Every Nikki Beach we’ve been to has felt special in it’s own unique way. The service and food has always been consistent and is one of the reasons we keep going back. It was honestly one of our best days and best meals in Sardinia. If you’re looking for the best beach club in Sardinia, definitely consider Nikki Beach.

Dining at Nikki Beach Club Costa Smeralda
We always seem to have some of our best meals on vacation at Nikki Beach and the Sardinia location was no exception. Normally I order their lobster pasta but the menu here is different and based around local produce. I’ve added the menu below so you can get an idea of what they serve.

Which meant I got to try something new which was recommended to me and they didn’t lead me astray. Both the burrata which we ate on the beach and risotto which we ate in the restaurant was excellent.

What to wear to Nikki Beach Costa Smeralda, Sardinia Italy
The dress code is beach chic resort wear and people do tend to go all out. Think polished and elegant luxury styling. Whether that’s a flowing kaftan, slinky knit maxi beach dress, or a coord set. It’s not a place you just rock up in a tank top and shorts.
How to make a reservation at Nikki Beach Costa Smeralda
There are a 4 different booking options for Nikki Beach:
- Restaurant only: 1.5 hours for 1–3 guests, 2 hours for 4–8 guests.
- Beach sun loungers (which is what we booked).
- Beach cabana.
- Beach bed and sofa.

We booked the loungers as my husband likes to be in the sun and I like the shade. So it made it easier for each of us to position the loungers exactly as we wanted them.

Each package includes 230€ credit redeemable on their reduced Bottle Service Menu. Which is basically a bottle of Veuve Clicquot, or you can pay the difference to upgrade.
