Rihanna’s Final 2024 Manicure Was One for the Books

Because the days between Christmas and New Year’s Eve tend to all blend together as you cozy up and chill out, it’s easy to miss out on the moves of your favorite celebs. But trust: they are still serving in their downtime. And we won’t let these interim looks go totally unappreciated.

While out and about in New York over the holiday weekend, Rihanna popped by a karaoke event where she did twovery Rihanna things. The first: performing two of her own songs, “Needed Me” and “Sex With Me.” The second: showing off an intricate manicure.

The mani in question, which lucky fans got to appreciate in real life as she gripped the microphone for her five-minute show, was clear with a simple, white French tip. Once the base was applied, her artist added some festive, hand-painted decor by way of white snowflakes and tiny gingerbread men (nail stickers would also work here!).

In the end, it gave “looking out the window as the snow falls,” a stylistic choice that—should you forgo the gingerbread—can definitely be carried through the rest of the winter. To make things even better, she paired the glam (which also included a majorly glossy, lined lip and peachy blush) with a giant fur hat.

Instead of the funky updos she’s been loving recently, she chose to wear her dark locks down and wavy, an easy, casual look that corresponded with her oversized T-shirt, jeans, and work boots.

Days later, the manicure was still holding strong as she rang in 2025 snug in a bathrobe with friends. “New year, new me,” she wrote in an Instagram reel caption. But really, I hope she stays exactly the same—at least where her beauty approach is concerned.
