Key Takeaways
- Sabrina Carpenter attended Jonathan Anderson’s first-ever runway show for Dior at Paris Fashion Week.
- At the show, her bangs were hidden by a side-parted, schoolgirl-esque hairstyle.
- She paired the surprising look with a gray Dior skirt suit and mauve lipstick.
No matter what she does, Sabrina Carpenter finishes the job with a bang. Still, her actual bangs rarely show themselves the door.
On Friday, June 27, the pop star appeared in Paris for the Dior Homme Menswear Spring/Summer 2026 show. Dressed in a gray skirt suit (the cinched jacket was a nod to the brand’s famous Bar Jacket), she wore her platinum locks in a style that made us do multiple double takes. Besides being much shorter than usual, her signature Bardot bangs were nowhere to be seen.
Sabrina Carpenter’s Bang-Less Hairstyle

Keeping with the vibe of her pleated schoolgirl skirt, Carpenter’s platinum hair was parted slightly to one side and secured with a black barrette. It was the kind of hairstyle your grandma would’ve loved to see you in on school picture day, if you weren’t already set on wearing every hair clip you owned.

Falling right past shoulder length, the ends of her hair were worked into a soft curl by celebrity hairstylist Rio Sreedharan while the rest of the strands, from root to mid-length were kept fairly straight. Up top, you could see some dark roots peeking through—a color choice she also made on the new alternate cover art for her upcoming album, Man’s Best Friend.

The Rest of the Look
Carpenter’s glam finished strong with a mauve lip, dark fluffy brows, and just a touch of blush on her cheeks. Her makeup artist, Brooke Turnbull, went gentle with the eyeliner, letting some neutral shadow and her fluttery lashes have their moment instead.
On her nails, she rocked the same sheer polka dot manicure that she’s been loving this summer, while her feet were taken care of by some nude satin peep-toe pumps.

So, to bang or not to bang? It’s the question of the summer, and I’ll let Carpenter give the final answer.
