My Review of Paros Tides
First Impressions
When I first heard about Paros Tides, the name totally got me. I love the sea and although I have never visited Paros, it looks absolutely amazing! The idea in my head straight away was clear water and salty breeze. When I saw the collection, I loved it because the blue is so uplifting! It looks great, and the best news is that the Paros Tides scent smells great too!
The Scent
The scent is really the star here. It is so gorgeous, like sunshine and seaside in a bottle in a clean and fresh way. It’s not at all overpowering, and in fact it’s super comforting. A summer scent without that sunscreen-y vibe so it makes it feel quite unique. Love it.
If you love fragrances like Jo Malone Wood Sage & Sea Salt, I think you will be a big fan of this.
The Formulations
I have been testing out the Body Wash and Body Lotion, the Hand Creme and the Body Oil. I haven’t tried the bath-time products yet because I am not so much of a bath person, especially in the spring and summer months.
I am saving the Hand Duo for when my guest bathroom needs a new set!
The Body Wash is great. I really like Space NK’s body wash formula because it foams up really nicely but it is still really gentle on the skin. The scent fills the shower and it just makes shower time a really enjoyable experience.
I have also been using the Body Lotion which feels light on the skin but super hydrating. It’s great for layering on the fragrance too. And if you really want the scent to pop, layer the body oil over it.
The Oil is really nice. It is lightweight and non-greasy yet deeply hydrating, plus it gives the skin a gorgeous sheen.
Price Point
For the quality and luxury feel of the products, I think this collection is priced really well. If you want to try the scent without committing to a larger size, I recommend grabbing the Paros Tides Hand Crème which is just £5 and a really nice hand cream formulation. It’s perfect handbag size and is rich yet sinks in efficiently.
If you’re into affordable luxury, this collection really hits that sweet spot.
