So, what’s a Prompt?
Simply put, it’s a tool. Imagine that you are giving directions to your pattern maker. You’re telling her/him/them, “I am looking to create a dress pattern for a size 8 with the following specifications: a sleeveless knee-length sheath silhouette made out of linen, with a scooped neck, embroidery around the neckline and armhole and a back zipper’. Well, in AI language, that is called a prompt.
In our second lesson, AI: Getting Started with Prompts, Anna Leighton demos how to craft powerful prompts that turn AI from a tool into your creative partner. A great prompt is more than just a description. It’s like a recipe where every word adds richness, detail and depth to your design, ultimately transforming your vision into a stunning reality.
